High-End – 8 Day – Gorilla Tracking, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chimpanzee Tracking
Day 1 Fly in and stay at Hotel No 5, Entebbe. Possible activities – Bird spotting boat ride, visit the botanical gardens, visit Entebbe Wildlife Centre.
Day 2 Fly to Kihihi and stay at Bwindi Lodge.
Day 3 Stay at Bwindi Lodge. Trek the gorillas – a once in a lifetime experience.
Day 4 Drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park and stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp. Explore the park on exciting game drives where you can expect to see elephants, buffalo, hyena, Uganda kob, warthogs and fabulous birds. There is also a good chance of seeing tree climbing lions. Leopards and the shoebill are also possible to see – if you’re lucky.
Day 5 Stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Day 6 Drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Kasenda Crater fields to Ndali Lodge.
Day 7 Stay at Ndali Lodge. Trek the chimpanzees, another once in a lifetime experience!
Day 8 Fly from Kasese to Entebbe. Either fly out or stay at Hotel No.5, Entebbe, depending on your flight times.
High-End – 8 Day – Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley National Parks
Day 1 Fly in and stay at Hotel No.5 in Entebbe. Possible activities – Bird spotting boat ride, visit the botanical gardens, visit Entebbe Wildlife Centre.
Day 2 Fly to Murchison Falls National Park. Stay at Nile Safari Lodge. On the way through the park, to your lodge, visit the dramatic Murchison Falls, where most of the River Nile is smashed through a 6-metre gap as it plummets 120 metres, throwing up clouds of spray, within which rainbows can often be seen.
Day 3 and 4 Game drives and a river boat cruise. Murchison Falls National Park is teeming with game! There are so many antelopes (Uganda kob and hartebeest), giraffe (Rothschild), elephants, warthogs, buffalo, hippopotamus and monkeys (pattas and olive baboons are the easiest to spot). You are also likely to see lions and hyena and if you’re lucky a leopard too! The Park is incredibly scenic, so there are plenty of beautiful spots to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sun-downer. From the boat cruise you are likely to see lots of hippopotamus as well as crocodiles, elephants, different types of monkeys (black and white colobus, vervet and red-tails are most commonly spotted) and plenty of spectacular birds. The boat cruise culminates near the bottom of Murchison Falls giving you a fabulous view of the crashing water.
Day 5 Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park. Stay at Apoka Lodge. This flight becomes ever more spectacular as you travel to the remote north eastern corner of Uganda.
Day 6 and 7 Game drives. Kidepo Valley National Park has an incredible variety of different types of animals. If there is one animal you really want to see and haven’t seen it already, it’s very likely you will see it here. In places there are a bewildering array of different animals all together on the same section of plain and all this set in spectacular scenery.
Day 8 Fly to Entebbe and depart or stay at Hotel No.5 and fly the following day, depending on your flight time.
High-End – 6 Day – Mountain Gorillas, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chimpanzees

Day 2 Fly to Kihihi and stay at Bwindi Lodge.

Day 4 Drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park and stay at Kyambura Gorge Lodge.
Day 5 Trek the chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge in the morning and enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon. Stay a second night at Kyambura Gorge Lodge.
Day 6 Fly out of Kasese to Entebbe. Depending on departure times either fly out or stay a second night at Hotel No.5 and fly out the following day.
High-End – 5 Day – Mountain Gorillas and Queen Elizabeth Nationan Park
Day 1 Fly in and stay at Hotel No.5 in Entebbe. Possible activities – Bird spotting boat ride, visit the botanical gardens, visit Entebbe Wildlife Centre. (Depending on flight times it may be possible to fly on to Kihihi the same day, but I would recommend staying in Entebbe the first night to recuperate from the long flight and in case your long haul flight is delayed).
Day 2 Fly to Kihihi. Short drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stay at Bwind Lodge. If there is time / energy guests may wish to enjoy a nature walk in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon.
Day 3 Trek the mountain gorillas in the morning. Drive 2 hours, partly through Queen Elizabeth National Park, to Ishasha Wilderness Camp. Evening game drive and sundowners in the park.
Day 4 Morning Game drive and exclusive bush breakfast. Lunch back at the Lodge. Afternoon Game drive culminating with sundowners at a special location. Stay a second night at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Day 5 Morning Game Drive. Fly from Kihihi to Entebbe. Fly out in the evening or stay a second night at Hotel No.5, depending on flight times.
High-End – 3 Day – Mountain Gorillas
