Mid-Range – 10 Day – Lake Mburo National Park, Gorrilla Tracking, Ishasha National Park, Chimpanzee Tracking
Day 1 Fly in and stay at Pineapple Guest House , Entebbe. Possible activities – bird spotting boat ride, visit the botanical gardens, visit Entebbe Wildlife Centre.
Day 2 Travel to Mihingo Lodge, Lake Mburo National Park. Included – Game drives – see zebra, impala, buffalo, fabulous birds, bush babies, mongoose, eland, giraffe, warthogs, possibly see hyena, leopard, bushbuck. Swim in Mihingo Lodge’s amazing infinity pool overlooking animals drinking from the water hole. Enjoy sun downers and / or a bush breakfast from one of the many scenic spots in the park.
Possible extras – guided walk with the animals outside the park for free! Boat ride to see hippos, crocodiles and lake side birds. Guided walk with ranger inside the park, night game drive – see the nocturnal animals and a better chance of seeing leopard. See the animals on horseback or on a mountain bike.
Day 3 Stay at Mihingo Lodge, Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the activities on offer. Do as little or as much as you would like!
Day 4 Travel to and stay at Engagi Lodge , Bwindi Impenatrable National Park.
Day 5 Stay at Engagi Lodge. Trek the gorillas – a once in a lifetime experience!
Day 6 Drive to Jungle Lodge Ishasha. Explore the park on exciting game drives and spot elephants, buffalo, hyena, Uganda kob, warthogs and fabulous birds. There is also a good chance of seeing tree climbing lions. Leopards and the shoebill are also possible to see – if you’re lucky!
Day 7 Stay at Jungle Lodge.
Day 8 Drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to Isunga Lodge.
Day 9 Stay at Isunga Lodge. Trek the chimpanzees, another once in a lifetime experience!
Day 10 Travel to Entebbe and fly out or stay at Pineapple Guest House depending on your flight times
Mid-Range – 10 Day – Murchison Falls and Kidepo Valley Parks, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Day 2 Drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Stay at Pakuba Safari Lodge or Red Chilli Rest Camp depending on your budget. On the way through the park, to your lodge, visit the dramatic Murchison Falls, where most of the River Nile smashes through a 6-metre gap as it plummets 120 metres, throwing up clouds of spray, within which rainbows can often be seen.
Day 3 and 4 Game drives and a river boat cruise. Murchison Falls National Park is teeming with game! There are so many antelopes (Uganda kob and hartebeest), giraffe (Rothschild), elephants, warthogs, buffalo, hippopotamus and monkeys (pattas and olive baboons are the easiest to spot). You are also likely to see lions and hyena and if you’re lucky a leopard too! The park is incredibly scenic, so there are plenty of beautiful spots to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sun-downer. From the boat cruise you are likely to see lots of hippopotamus as well as crocodiles, elephants, different types of monkeys (black and white colobus, vervet and red-tails are most commonly spotted) and plenty of spectacular birds. The boat cruise culminates near the bottom of Murchison Falls giving you a fabulous view of the crashing water.
Day 5 Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. Stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge. This drive becomes ever more spectacular as you travel to the remote north eastern corner of Uganda.
Day 6 and 7 Game drives. Kidepo Valley National Park has an incredible variety of different types of animals. If there is one animal you really want to see and haven’t seen it already, it’s very likely you will see it here. In places there are a bewildering array of different animals all together on the same section of plain. And all this set in spectacular scenery.
Day 8 Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Stay at Amuka Lodge Uganda.
Day 9 See the rhinoceros on foot. These incredible animals can be seen after a fairly short walk through the bush. As the Rhinos have round the clock protection, they have become habituated to humans and it is therefore safe for them to be viewed on foot, making the experience much more up-close and personal! You will also be supporting this very worthwhile project to re-introduce rhinoceros to Uganda.
Day 10 Drive to Entebbe and fly out. Or stay at Pineapple Guest House and fly out the next day, depending on your flight time.
